Even though the 15' StarCraft is considered a "lightweight", there was nothing lightweight about its tongue weight on my hitch, weighing in at 660 pounds! Seems our 15rb is similar to hitching up to a wheel barrow. With only the tent and head in the rear, there is almost NO storage in back of the axle; consequently, Water tanks. w heater, propane, battery, all food, almost all cupboards, Tongue storage box, fridge are all in front of the axle, making it WAY tongue heavy. Strange design.

660 pounds, plus we always load a couple of Honda 70s into the back of the Tahoe, sometimes a boat on top, outboard, gas, dog and two old people so I felt I was really pushing the limits of that rear Tahoe axle.

the new Weight distribution hitch made a big difference in eliminating that rear-end hitch sag; brought the front tires back down, and leveled out the whole rig.

Also the new anti-sway device makes a world of diff when semis pass me on the interstate. Wow. Worth the $$ for my peace of mind.
